The mission of the Brooklyn Ballet School is to provide an outlet for conservatory training in Brooklyn and to educate young dancers in a professional manner while nurturing a sense of joy in movement. Now that Brooklyn Ballet has established its home at The Schermerhorn, we are pleased to announce Brooklyn Ballet’s first series of youth workshops. These workshops are designed for ballet students ages 3 to 7 and emphasize the dancers’ capability to grow by reinforcing and improving technique. Consistent education is a key element in the discipline of ballet, and it is this dedication to training which unlocks the wonders of the art form.
