Brooklyn Ballet Performs at State-of-the-Borough Address

Brooklyn Ballet performed "Close to You" on February 3 at Marty Markowitz' State-of-the-Borough address at the Park Slope Armory. 

Ms. Parkerson's new work, juxtaposing professional ballet dancers with remarkable pop and lock artists, was witnessed by over 1,500 Brooklyn residents, elected officials and community leaders. The dancers were Kerry Shea and Mike Fields a.k.a. Supreme. Other performers at the event included the Venuto Brothers and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
