Students in grades 6-12 are invited to audition for the Summer Dance Program at Interlochen. There is a $35 audition fee.

The Interlochen dance program offers a curriculum designed for the serious student who wishes to study both ballet and modern dance.  All classes provide a positive, focused, professional atmosphere.  Dance majors may choose to attend one or both of the three-week sessions that include six hours of dance training each day.  Majors select from either a ballet emphasis (which includes pointe technique) or modern emphasis (which includes improvisation and composition).

Required audition dress for girls is a black leotard and pink tights.  Boys should wear white t-shirts and black tights.
