Brooklyn’s got moves and we’re spotlighting the movers and shakers on the borough’s dance scene in this Best of BIT episode. First is Williamsburg-based modern dancer Tami Stronach, who has been described as a “choreographic doctor of the human condition;” then we visit Brooklyn Ballet, an 8-year-old professional company that “pirouettes out of the box” with its mix of contemporary, classical, and street choreography; we learn how members of Streb S.L.A.M. movement company defy gravity with their acrobatic style; and finally, young dancers discover a love for the art form at April’s Dance N’ Feet in Canarsie.”
On Wednesday, March 30th at 1:30pm and 9:30pm, Brooklyn Ballet on Caught in the Act will appear as part of the “Best of BIT: Dance” episode.
