Next Step Summer Intensive

Brooklyn Ballet’s Next Step Summer Intensive is a fun, challenging, and inspiring dance intensive for intermediate to advanced pre-professional students ages 10-17. During the 5-day intensive, students enjoy classes led by Brooklyn Ballet’s esteemed Faculty and guest teaching artists in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment. Daily classes include ballet, pointe, variations, modern, contemporary, jazz, and Hip Hop. Each week culminates with an in-studio student showcase.

Dates

Level II (ages 10-12, intermediate): August 3-7 | 9:30am-4:00pm

Level III/IV (ages 13-17, advanced intermediate/advanced)
Week 1: August 10-14 | 9:30am-4:00pm
Week 2: August 17-21 | 9:30am-4:00pm (Week 2 is to be determined based on enrollment)
Level III/IV students are welcome to join for one or two weeks.

Placement Audition & Registration

A placement audition is required for Level II (ages 10-12) and Level III/IV (ages 13-17) students prior to registering.

Tuition

1 Week: $735 (Level II & Level III/IV)

2 Weeks: $1340 (Level III/IV only)

Ballet I (ages 8-9) and Ballet II & Pre-Pointe (ages 10-12) Classes | July 6-30

• Ballet I: No prior experience or placement audition is required to register.

Ballet I (ages 8-9, absolute beginner/beginner): Tuesdays or Thursdays (students may enroll one or two days per week), 5:00-6:00pm

Ballet II & Pre-Pointe (ages 10-12, beginner/advanced beginner): Mondays and Wednesdays (students must enroll two days per week), 5:00-6:30pm

Ballet I

• One day per week: $120
• Two days per week: $240

Ballet II & Pre-Pointe: $280 (two days per week)

Pre-Ballet (ages 3-5) & Elementary Ballet (ages 6-7) Classes | July 6-30

No prior experience or placement audition is required to register. 

Pre-Ballet (ages 3-5): Tuesdays or Thursdays (1 day per week), 4:15-5:00pm
