The Brooklyn Youth Dance Festival (BYDF) highlights our youth’s accomplishments in dance while encouraging opportunities for further development and exploration of the art form.
BYDF is a fun filled day of dance that includes activities for the whole family. There will be dance classes, a performance showcase, moon-bounce, food, music and games celebrating dance. The suggested $5 donation is an adult/ child, and babies, 2 years and under, are free and supports our dance program at Benjamin Banneker.
The event begins at 11am. Brooklyn Ballet Youth Ensemble will perform at 3pm.

The annual series presents new work by women dance makers working with the pointe shoe, and new for 2016, the choreographers are paired with a visual artist.
