Company Dancer
Jeron “JayJay” Sanders
2025 - 2026 SEASON
Jeron “JayJay” Sanders, a Miami native, discovered his passion for the arts early in life.
Growing up, he immersed himself in theater until his freshman year of high school, where he found a deep love for dance. His artistic journey began at Southwood Middle School Center for the Arts, followed by his studies at New World School of the Arts, where he initially focused on theater. After transitioning to the dance department, he honed his skills in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. Jeron also expanded his repertoire at Stars Dance Studio, mastering Contemporary, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, and Ballroom, and furthering his ballet education at Armour Dance Theatre.
Jeron’s collegiate journey led him to Point Park University in Pittsburgh, where he performed works by many renowned choreographers. He graduated in April 2021 with a BFA in Dance, concentrating on Modern dance, and a minor in Business Management.
In the fall of 2021, Jeron joined Dallas Black Dance Theatre: Encore!, where he performed works by a range of acclaimed choreographers. He later became a member of RWS Global’s Step One Dance Company in New York City, touring and performing internationally. Jeron also appeared as a featured dancer in Florida Grand Opera’s production of The Magic Flute. Since relocating to New York City in Fall 2025, Jeron has performed with Stefanie Nelson Dance Group and Visions Contemporary Ballet, and is currently working as a guest artist with Brooklyn Ballet. Jeron is excited to continue growing as an artist, educator, and national adjudicator.
