Through our Education and Community programs, Brooklyn Ballet creates opportunities for new audiences to experience an aspect of culture which they may otherwise never have access to.
Elevate

Our outreach program, Elevate is a dynamic in-school residency program that introduces students across Brooklyn to the joy and discipline of Ballet. Through free performances, workshops, and pop-up events like Take Ballet to the Streets, we create inclusive spaces where movement, creativity, and culture connect.

Our community outreach programs are mutually enriching and inform the direction of our artistic work. The Company’s ongoing exposure to street dancing and non-traditional performance settings transforms how we perform our classical dance work. The incorporation of improvisational structures and unorthodox musical scores adds rich, enticing layers to the company's expressive range.
Studio Rental
Brooklyn Ballet’s state-of-the art studio in Downtown Brooklyn is available for rent.
Our column-free 25 x 35 ft. space features a sprung dance floor, marley, portable mirrors, ballet barres, a stereo system, and abundant natural light. The facility includes a lobby and two dressing rooms, and is wheelchair accessible with convenient subway and bus access. Ideal for rehearsals, classes, auditions, and events. Discounted rates available for independent choreographers and dance companies.
