Jonalyn Bradshaw

Jonalyn is a Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer who is passionate about connecting communities through dance and art.

She began her training at a young age in Brockton, Massachusetts, at Sherry Gold dance studio. In 2009, Jonalyn attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst under a Chancellor’s Talent award where she performed works by Camille A. Brown, David Dorfman and Pearl Primus before graduating with a BFA in Dance in 2012.

In 2013 she became a member of the Dayton Contemporary Dance's second company under the tutelage of Shonna Hickman-Matlock. Jonalyn moved west in 2014 to dance with The Cleo Parker Robinson second company performing works among artists such as Edgar Page, Gary Abbott, Theo Jamison and Baba Chuck Davis, as well as leading in the company's annual holiday presentation of Granny Dances to a Holiday Drum. In 2017 Jonalyn began working at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts where she enjoyed connecting students to Theater as the Education and Group Sales Coordinator.

Currently, Jonalyn is a resident of Brooklyn, where she is creating, teaching, and performing as her journey continues.
