Vitoria Correia
2025 - 2026 SEASON
Vitoria is a dancer and teaching artist from Taboão da Serra, São Paulo, Brazil.
She began her dance training at the Escola Municipal de Bailado de Taboão da Serra and, at age 13, received a full scholarship to the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil. After graduating, she joined the Bolshoi Brazil Junior Company, where she performed in numerous classical ballets, including Don Quixote (Vladimir Vasiliev’s staging) and The Nutcracker, as well as contemporary works by William Almeida and Amarildo Cassiano. While in Brazil, Vitoria appeared as a guest artist at several dance festivals and in national TV commercials for brands such as Pantene Brazil and Instituto Cultural Vale.
In 2022, she moved to the United States to pursue a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy at the University of Oklahoma, where she performed both soloist and corps de ballet roles, including Green Girl in Antique Epigraphs by Jerome Robbins, Whereabouts Unknown by Jiří Kylián, and Strand by Robin Mineko Williams. She also deepened her work as an educator, teaching dance to students of all ages.
Now based in New York City, Vitoria performs and teaches throughout the city. She is Dance for PD® trained and currently volunteers at the Mark Morris Dance Center. She is excited to be performing in her first Brooklyn
