Nellie Rainwater

Nellie Rainwater is a development professional, arts administrator, and dancer/choreographer. She has previously worked in arts administration with Ballet RI (formerly Festival Ballet Providence) and White Wave Young Soon Kim Dance Company. Nellie holds an M.F.A. in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a B.A. in Dance and English from St. Olaf College. Her choreography has been presented at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival (Inside/Out), DANCENOW at Joe’s Pub, WestFest Dance Festival, Salem Arts Festival, AS220, and other venues. As a performer, she has worked with Amorphous Dance, Naomi Goldberg Haas/Dances for a Variable Population, Jane Franklin Dance, BosmaDance, and Amanda Hinchey & Dancers, and more. She also has experience as a dance and yoga instructor.
