Kate Reyes

Kate Reyes (she/they) is a freelance artist, teacher, and performer. Originally from Quezon City,

Philippines she immigrated to NYC at the age of 7. She found her love for dance and the arts through the education she received from LaGuardia Arts HS and Marymount Manhattan College. Upon graduating college, Kate joined the Graham 2 company and continued on to join the Martha Graham Dance company in 2021. She has toured nationally and internationally performing Martha Graham’s works. Additionally, Ms. Reyes has performed works choreographed by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Elizabeth Roxas Dobrish, Trey McIntyre, Ron KBrown, Larry Keigwin, Yin Yue and Sonya Tayeh. She currently dances for Buglisi Dance Theater and Suzzanne Ponomarenko Dance. Ms. Reyes has a big passion for teaching and building community. She is currently on faculty at LaGuardia HS and has taught at Scripps College, Lincoln Center Education, Covenant BalletTheatre, The Martha Graham School, Steps on Broadway and MOVE(NYC).
